Hey!! We're looking for graphic designers for our marketing team!! Job description is as follows:

Graphic Designer

Your role: 
Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts.
( i.e.  Posters, Flyers, brochures)

Duties:
•    Plans concept by studying information and materials.
•    Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
•    Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
•    Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
•    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills: Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creativity, Flexibility in timings, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented,

Software skills: 
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw

Experience: 
Minimum 1 year

Qualification : 
Any degree (Degree in fine arts preferable)

Vijay TV is looking for social media interns to grow its digital marketing initiatives. We're looking for you if you have:

You are a self-starter. You can understand mission prerogatives, take ownership and carry out activities on your own. You can keep your eyes on the goal under pressure. You're not afraid to get your hands dirty.

This means you handle interpersonal conversations very well: understanding nuances, making everybody's life easier by communicating clearly, asking questions when you don't understand and following up politely.
4. Solid writing skills
You can write grammatically correct, spelling, syntax and grammatical-error free copy. You also show wit and charm in your writing. You not only have a flair for the language, you enjoy writing.
5. Social skills
You are already socially active on selected or all social networks. You've got social panache. You fit into groups very well because you're a team player.
6. Creativity
You think out of the box. You're bursting with ideas. You are result-oriented.

Conditions

Work hours
We're taking on full-time internees: our work hours are from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm India time. 
Internship period
Internships can last anywhere between 3 and 6 months.

Vijay TV pays tribute to the loving bond between fathers and daughters with Thayumanavan, a serial which airs weeknights starting July 15, 2013. To celebrate this special relationship, we're having a contest starting tonight until July 31, 2013. Don't waste any time people!! Send in your entries now! 

How to enter

If you have a photo which you think symbolises your relationship and closeness to your father or father figure, message it to us on Facebook.com/VijayTelevision. Here's how:
Make sure your message 
a. Clearly mentions that this is an entry for the Thayumanavan Photo Contest 
b. Caption the photo and tell us when and where the picture was taken
c. Includes, your name, cell phone number and email address

Selected photos get featured on air

Don't forget to watch the show, because we'll showcase the best photos at the close of each episode of Thayumanavan on air. At the end of three weeks, we'll also give our top three picks a Vijay TV goodies hamper.
